MEMBERSHIP BENIFITS, ELIGIBILITY
& PROCESS

Membership Benefits
The obvious benefit of membership in the Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob d. Hayes Detachment is to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Marines and FMF Corpsmen. We also help preserve the history and traditions of the Marine Corps through fitting acts such as participating in Parades, Color Guards, funerals, and conducting other ceremonies such as the Marine Corp Birthday Ball. The detachment participates in the community through recognizing upstanding citizens within the community with awards, such as those presented at an Eagle's Court of honor. Most importantly, as Marines we were taught from day-one that we take care of our own and never leave a
Marine behind. As members of the LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment we are demonstrating our commitment to that principal through fund raising efforts, outreach and community contacts to help support any Marine, FMF Corpsmen or their families in Denton County.
