

Application for Assistance



The Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment is dedicated to supporting Marines, Fleet Marine Force Navy personnel, and their families. As a local nonprofit organization, our resources are limited; however, we maintain strong relationships with a network of veteran-focused and community organizations. If we are unable to directly provide the assistance requested, we will make every reasonable effort to connect you with an organization better positioned to help.
We take seriously our responsibility to be good stewards of the trust and generosity shown by our donors and supporters. For this reason, all requests for assistance are subject to a review and vetting process. Individuals seeking assistance are required to complete the application in full and submit any requested supporting documentation.
All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the nature and complexity of the request, the review process may take one day to one week or longer.
Please note that financial assistance, when approved, is not distributed directly to the applicant. Payments are made directly to the creditor or service provider. Additionally, assistance is typically provided as a one-time contribution; therefore, applicants are encouraged to include all relevant needs and requests at the time of application.
