This is a large 2.6" Detachment challenge coin. This is the detachment's new challenge coin based off our detachment logo. One side has the Eagle Globe and Anchor with the Marine Corps motto and ethos of "Once a Marine, Always a Marine, along with various battles from Marine Corps history. The other side features the detachment's logo. Texas in the center with Collin County, which we represent inscribed. Texas is surunded by Marine Corps Images of Iwo Jima flag raising, Tun Tavern, a the first Marine bull dog mascot, and Marines with Toys for Tots boxes represnting our community serves.
